Chlorine-based disinfectans
Chlorine-based disinfection is the most effective solution for reducing and eliminating bacterial and viral contents of drinking water (thus preventing the spread of diseases such as cholera or typhoid). According to McGuire's 2013 study, chlorine-based disinfection has saved the lives of more people than any other health improvement in history over the last hundred years.

Highly effective biocidal product suitable for disinfecting drinking water, swimming pool water and bathing water.
The product has bactericidal, fungicidal, viricidal action. Our product is also available in different packages (bottles, barrels, tanks).
Dosage:
The amount required depends on the quality of the water being treated. It requires regular maintenance of dispensing and safety equipment, trained users of technological discipline, and compliance with applicable laws.
Bathing or swimming pool treatment
In the case of bathing or swimming pool water the amount of free active chlorine is max. 1 mg / l and bound chlorine 0.5 mg / l. In case of shock disinfection, it is used at a concentration of 50 mg / l of active chlorine, at a frequency depending on the water load, when no one is in the pool.

Sodium hypochlorite SPECIAL
Drinking, bath and swimming pool water disinfectant
High quality active chlorine-containing water treatment with low chlorate content. It is primarily recommended for use in the food industry but can also be used for drinking water and swimming pool water. Our product has fungicidal and bactericidal effects, which effectively kills fungi and bacteria.
Dosage when treating bath or swimming pool water
The amount of bound chlorine is max. 0.5 mg / l and free active chlorine 1 mg / l. The optimum active chlorine content is 0.1-0.2 mg / l, and the effect requires a pH of 7.1-7.4.

Aquahip Basic
Swimming, bath, drinking and other water treatment products
Optimized for the treatment of swimming pools, bath water and disinfection of drinking water with active chlorine content. It is an effective liquid water treatment agent against bacteria and fungi. It can be used in private and public institutions.
Dosage in case of bath or swimming pool water
The amount of bound chlorine is max. 0.5 mg / l and free active chlorine 1 mg / l. The optimum active chlorine content is 0.1-0.2 mg / l, and the effect requires a pH of 7.1-7.4.

For the first refill, add 70 ml of product to every 10m3 of water.
For daily treatment:

Dosing can be done with an automatic chemical feeder or manually. In the case of an automatic chemical dispenser, the above values must be adjusted to ensure proper water quality. During manual dosing, the active chlorine level can be determined using chlorine testers.

Chlorine tablets
An active chlorine-containing biocidal water treatment chemical that has a disinfectant effect. The product should only be used for bathing water treatment. For both professional and residential users.
Dosage
Initial dosage:
10 g / m3 swimming pool water. After two hours, adjust the pH of the pool water to 7.2-7.6. Dosing should be repeated until the water is clear.
Maintenance treatment for granules:
When the pH of the water has been adjusted, add 1-2 g per m3 of swimming pool water daily. The required dose is placed in the skimmer and the filter device is then turned on so that the product dissolves when water is flushed through the skimmer.
Maintenance treatment for tablets:
1) once a week add one tablet per 15 m3 of swimming pool water to the skimmer net, or
2) If an automatic feeder is used, fill it with a tablet and then turn on the filter to rinse it with water.
For a non-foil or plastic pool, the product can be added directly to the water surface, especially in the evenings when the pool is no longer in use. (For foil or plastic pools, dropping them directly into the water can damage the cover). The dosage may vary with the quality of the treated water. Chlorine levels should be maintained between 0.5 and 2 mg / l and checked at least twice daily with a chlorine / pH tester.
For use in tanks up to a volume of 70 m3, it can be used directly as a reconstituted solution in a larger pool using a metering pump. Immediately after adding the product to the pool, the bath should not remain in the water until completely mixed. No bather may stay in the pool while the amount of free chlorine in the bathing water is above 1 mg / l.

The product may also be used in Community bathing waters if none of the parameters for the bathing water exceeds the limits specified in Decree 37/1996 (X.18.) NM. If the bathing water enters directly into the living water, consult the regional competent authority prior to use.
SmartOxi
It is an effective chlorine dioxide disinfectant that can be used in pools, baths and drinking water. It can be used effectively to remove biofilms that are a source of Legionella infection.
It can be used in both professional and residential environments.
Dosage:
The amount required depends on the quality of the water being treated. Dosage should be monitored with automated chemical dosing or chlorine dioxide testers
During filling:
To achieve a concentration of 0.2 mg / l, 67 ml of SmartOxi should be added to 1 m3 of pool water. (To create a concentration of 0.1 mg / liter chlorine dioxide, 3.35 liters of SmartOxi is required for 100 m3 of swimming pool water.)
Continuous use:
For disinfection of swimming pool water, SmartOxi may be used in concentrations of at least 0.2 mg / l and at most 1.0 mg / l chlorine dioxide. l). The daily dose depends on the bath load of the pool.
Shock protection:
Periodic high dose treatment in the absence of the spa guests.
Usual dose:
- charged in sand filter per m3: 10 liters SmartOxi
- or filled into a basin at 300-670 ml per m3 of pool water.
A bather shall not remain in the pool until twice the amount of free active chlorine and the level of total chlorine dioxide exceeds 1 mg / l. To achieve biocidal action, a continuous concentration of 0.2 mg / l chlorine dioxide and a loading time of 2 hours are required.
In the case of drinking water, Decree 201/2001. (X.25.) Water quality shall be ensured in accordance with the Government Decree so that the amount of chlorite does not exceed 0.2 mg / l.

Rapid chlorine
VINYL POOL works fast thanks to its fast chlorine granulate form. It is ideally suited for the elimination of the onset of algae and the shocking chlorination and general disinfection required for other reasons. Other advantages are simple and safe handling, easy dosing. No special precautions required for storage and transport.
VINYL POOL RAPID CHLORINE delivers the benefits of proven chlorine disinfection to applications where the conditions for transporting and storing chlorine are not available or official regulations have not yet made it possible.

Application
1. Adjust the pH of the pool water to 7 to 7.4 before use. The right pH value is important not only for bathing comfort, but also for efficiency! At high pH, the amount of so-called bound chlorine that is no longer disinfected will increase, causing the water to "smell chlorine" and pinch the skin and eyes. This can be avoided by regular pH monitoring!
2. If a non-automatic feeder is used, the water should be treated preferably when not in use, e.g. evening. During operation, the water circulation system must be operational!
3. Dosing Instructions
Shocking chlorination: 8-16 grams of fast chlorine / m3 of pool water
In case of algae or other extreme contamination, add 8-16 grams of fast chlorine per cubic meter of pool water, depending on the degree of algae / contamination, and swirl vigorously for several hours. Then let the water settle overnight and then vacuum the pool.
Sustainable chlorination: 1.5-3 grams of fast chlorine / m3 of water per day.
Also observe the health and safety regulations when handling water. Wear safety goggles, protective gloves, protective apron. Avoid eating, drinking and smoking during work. When the work is done, let us clean ourselves thoroughly.
VINYL-POOL RAPID CHLORINE should not be added together with other acidic chemicals (e.g. hydrochloric acid) due to the dangerous formation of chlorine gas! Please also consult the Safety Data Sheet for this product prior to dosing to avoid accidents.
Chlorine-free disinfectants
The VINYL POOL LONGOXI line is great news for those looking for a real alternative to chlorine-based disinfection. Especially for indoor pools, children's pools, or wellness hotels, we recommend Instant Oxi or chlorine-based disinfectants so they can perform the most effective disinfection without odor and irritation, minimizing the use of chlorine-based disinfectants.
LONGOXI STRONG
Excellent chlorine-free disinfectant for bath and swimming pool water. It is recommended for children to disinfect the water of swimming pools. Applicable to water-circulating pools with dosing equipment. Do not dilute! For professional use.
Dosage
When filling: Add 600 ml of product to 10 m3 of water.
Continuous dosing: After use, the amount to be applied depends on the bath load. For regular use of the bath, the recommended dosage is 10 m3 of bathing water per day:
- 400 to 800 ml for public baths.
For circulating water pools, the amount required to provide the appropriate LONGOXI STRONG level must be added to the circulating water using a metering pump. Please observe the precautions.
Concentration measurement
The level of LONGOXI STRONG in public baths is specified in Decree 37/1996. (X. 18.) NM shall be measured with the frequency prescribed by the Decree. Powerful, fast-acting, chlorine-free oxidative treatment for swimming pools, spas and wellness facilities. With regular weekly use as a preventive shock, weekly use as an oxidative treatment agent, VINYL POOL Instant Oxi keeps the pool water brilliantly clear of odor and irritation. Reduce odor and eye irritation. Chloramines cause eye irritation. However, if water is first treated with Instant Oxi, said organic pollutants are decomposed oxidatively, thus avoiding the formation of unpleasant chloramines. When the pool or spa water is ready to purify, simply spray Instant Oxi and stir for a quarter of an hour. Instant Oxi dissolves very quickly and completely and mixes with the pool water.
Advantages
Instant Oxi does not affect the chlorine content of the water. The Instant Oxi-treated pool can be re-opened to traffic in just 15 minutes. Conversely, in the case of shock or rapid chlorine treatment, wait for the chlorine content to drop to 4 ppm, which may take hours.
Instant Oxi does not increase the concentration of cyanuric acid. Chlorine tablets and chlorine granules contain cyanuric acid, the concentration of which increases with shock disinfection. Since Instant Oxi does not contain cyanuric acid, it does not increase the cyanuric acid content on regular use.
Instant Oxi does not increase the hardness of the water. With regular use of calcium hypochlorite, the calcium in the pool water increases, and since Instant Oxi does not contain calcium, it does not increase the calcium in the water.
Instant Oxi does not make the water cloudy. Some treatments make the water in the pools cloudy, which can persist for hours. Instant Oxi does not opalesce due to its rapid and complete dissolution.
Instant Oxi converts bromide to elemental bromine and oxidizes pollutants in spa water. In the reaction of bromine with bacteria, it is converted to bromide or to a bromine amine. Bromide is an inert salt. With vigorous oxidation with Instant Oxi, bromide can be converted back to bromine and reduced organic pollutants. Pool conditioner
VINYL POOL products include a full range of pool water conditioners: algae inhibitor, flocculant, oxidant, limescale and pH regulators. Our products have been developed for professional users and are therefore typically available in packages of 25 liters or more.
VINYL POOL Antifouling
Regular dosing of VINYL POOL ALGAE INHIBITANT will prevent the algae from forming, meaning that the water will not discolor and will not smell bad. VINYL POOL ALGAE INHIBITANT is a liquid, non-foaming liquid so it can be easily dispensed in automated systems. The chemical does not affect the pH of the water, but like most water treatment agents, it is only effective in the optimal (7.0-7.4) pH range. Strong sunshine, warm water and high pH favor algae reproduction, so these factors require increased attention to prevent algae growth.
It is always easier and more economical to prevent algae growth than to kill algae that have already multiplied. For advanced algae, we recommend shocking (single-dose, high-dose) disinfection using chlorine-containing chemicals, but in case of severe algae infestation, only complete water exchange and disinfection of the pool will help.
Dosage
In its application in Community bathing waters, the provisions of Decree 37/1996. (IV.12.) EüM r. (X.18.) NM r. If the bathing water enters directly into the living water, consult the competent environmental authority prior to use. Before filling the pool, spray with 1% solution and let it dry!
For first filling: add 10 ml / m3 (1l / 100 m3) to the pool water.
After dosing: Depending on the weather and the load, add 1-4 dl / 100 m3 every 1-2 weeks. For water that has already cleared, apply "shock" treatment in an amount of 1-1.5 l / 100 m3.
The algae inhibitor is effective only when the pH is between 7 and 7.8. if the chlorine content is above 0.3 mg / l. Set the above values before applying. Prior to shock treatment, a "chlorine shock" with a chlorine value of 3-4 mg / l should also be applied. After product addition, min. 30 minutes, respectively. the bather shall not remain in the water until fully mixed.

VINYL POOL AQUACARBON
ACTIVE CARBON FOR SWIMMING WATER TREATMENT

VINYL POOL AQUACARBON is a high specific surface-active carbon made from a coconut shell, chemically hard, has a good bonding ability and has a structured, flap-like structure that can effectively remove most of the residual water and decomposition products from the pool water. By applying VINYL POOL AQUACARBON, the unpleasant color, smell, taste and bathing will be completely eliminated and will become a true, unforgettable experience. Effective for chlorine-based disinfectants such as chlorine gas, hypo, liquid chlorine, chlorine tablets or granules, or ozone disinfection.
Application
How does VINYL POOL AQUACARBON charcoal use?
In combination with other water treatment products as follows:
- The solids are removed (flocculation, filtration).
- We remove bacteria and other microorganisms (disinfection, algae inhibition)
- Adjustment of optimum pH (7.0-7.4)
- Activated carbon filtration removes unwanted residues, decomposition products, unpleasant color and odor.
The top 10 cm of the pool sand filter should be filled with VINYL POOL AQUACARBON activated carbon, so no additional equipment is required.
For regular freshwater replenishment and to maintain the excellent effect of activated carbon:
- regular and intensive backwashing of the filter
- at least once a year to replace the normal activated carbon loss with fresh coal.

VINYL POOL Flocking
Floating agent free, shining water!
The purpose of flocculation is to remove the finest distribution of floating pollutants, colloids. The removal (filtering) of these from swimming pool water cannot be completely solved with a water-turning sand filter.
With the help of the VINYL POOL SOFTENER, small floating impurities are formed into flakes of a size that can already be perfectly filtered with a conventional sand filter. This process is guaranteed to remove even the finest contaminants from the water, such as oil, grease and other organic matter. VINYL POOL SWEEPER completely eliminates the turbidity of the swimming pool water and significantly improves the efficiency of the sand filter.
VINYL POOL SOFTENING Liquid can be used for: - water filters for sand filters and - ceramic, impregnated paper or plastic filters with water filters.
Due to the fluid nature of the flocculant, it is well suited to automatic dispensers, so that continuous dosing and maximum efficiency can be achieved at low labor requirements. The liquid flocculant is further suitable for feeding into skimmers (skewers), drainage troughs, and water filter sand traps (pre-filters).
Dosage
With the pump directly into the basin, the dosing nozzle should be in front of the water circulation. It is recommended that the skimmer be diluted 10-20 times. Add 10 ml by hand to 1 m3 of water, spread over its surface. It is important to clean the filters regularly! The pH should be adjusted to 7-7.4 before dosing. The amount of dosing depends largely on the load on the pool. The aluminum content in the treated water is max. 200 μg / l. The instructions of the applicable water treatment technology must always be followed! It is recommended that a clarification attempt be made to determine the exact amount to be administered.
The correct and effective operation of the water recirculation filter, ie regular washing of the filter, replenishing and replacing the filter sand, is essential for the perfect cleaning of swimming pool water and for eliminating turbidity. It is easily diluted with water and is suitable for use in closed system high pressure equipment.
User's Guide:
Vinyl POOL Limescale Extra Pool Cleaner can be used both in concentrated and diluted condition. In the concentrated state, the potency is diluted by not more than ten minutes, diluted twice, for half an hour for safety (the concentration and potency are not directly proportional). After this time, limescale or deposits can be removed by rinsing, or even rubbing against stubborn deposits. Immediate rubbing is required to remove rust. If corroded aluminum is cleaned, soak the surface for at least one hour before commencing the cleaning process. Finally, wash the purified portion three times with approximately equal volumes of water.

Sulfuric acid, besides its many chemical applications, provides the perfect solution for lowering the pH of treated water during water treatment. The great advantage over hydrochloric acid is that it does not have to be corroded when used.

Swimming pool water treatment Guide
At first glance, achieving safe, comfortable, and crystal-clear water seems like a difficult and hard task, but if you follow all the steps of water treatment, you can achieve your goal with little effort. The importance of every step of the treatment is emphasized once again, as there are several chemical reactions in the water, physical and biological processes that must be in balance!
Chlorine is the most common water disinfectant. This is because the performance of chlorine-free agents is much lower against viruses, algae and protozoa, while commodities are about four times more chlorine-free.
Chlorination of water protects bathers from diseases and infections caused by dangerous microorganisms.
To this end, always maintain active chlorine levels of 1-4 ppm in all parts of the pool, averaging around 2.2 ppm!
Treatment with shocking, high-dose chlorine or chlorine-containing chemicals is also advisable for occasionally pools containing chlorine-based agents, to avoid the development of resistant bacteria and the accumulation of organic contaminants in the water.
Shocking chlorination is especially recommended for non-chlorinated pools, such as hot tubs or children's pools, whose warm water is ideal for bacterial growth. Their water should be treated once a week with high-dose, shocking chlorination and chlorine-containing agents to prevent the development of resistant strains and serious infections that are difficult to cure.
High-dose, shocking chlorination can also help with mild algae or other infections. During the shock treatment with chlorine, the pool cannot be used and only after the active chlorine level has dropped below 4 ppm.
Our VINY POOL Instant Oxi product is ideal for shock treatment, and after 15 minutes you can use the pool again. It is not suitable for disinfection as such, but it degrades organic matter in the water through the use of strong oxidants, so using it requires less chlorine for the same disinfection performance and eliminates the need for preventive shock chlorination.
The ideal pH value for the pool is between 7.0 and 7.4.
This is not only due to the pH sensitivity of the human body, but also to the effectiveness of disinfection and algae inhibition as well as to the conservation of mechanical equipment!
The unpleasant, pungent and itchy feel of water is often caused by an inadequate pH. Although the skin has an average pH of 5.5, it is in the acidic range, but the mucous membranes of the eyes and nose are in the alkaline range.
Below pH 7 the pool water is corrosive, irritating to eyes and nose. In addition, it can damage mechanical equipment, so a minimum pH of 7 is generally recommended.
The upper limit of pH is the efficiency of disinfection.
The higher the pH, the less active the chlorine is, ie the less it has the ability to disinfect. Therefore, the maximum recommended pH value for swimming pools used to be 7.6, now it is 7.4.
The pH value determines the quality of bathing, the effectiveness of disinfection and algae inhibition, the lifetime of the mechanical equipment, so pay special attention to setting and maintaining the values!
The pH regulators marketed by Vinyl Ltd. are high-purity basic chemicals such as hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, sodium carbonate, which provide economical pH control for baths and swimming pools.
Green water is a nightmare for pool operators, but no matter how incredible, there is no pool algae!
In indoor pools, if the water is not too hot, the continuous presence of the required active chlorine level is usually sufficient to prevent algae formation, but the situation is different outside. Direct sunlight and high temperatures are ideal for algae.
Without the use of algae, algae formation can be observed in the outdoor cold-water pools in summer and in the hot water pools throughout the year. However, if you prefer to look at pure water, you should use an algae inhibitor. Algae that have already appeared is very difficult to leave, and prevention of the process is much easier.
VINYL POOL Antifouling with high efficiency prevents algae formation and can be optimally dosed with an automatic chemical dispenser.
If algae have already appeared in the water, shock disinfection should be applied or, in severe cases, full water replacement and disinfection is needed.
Without filtration and flocculation, the water becomes cloudy and then cloudy.
Removal of the finest floating materials is not possible only with a sand filter. The VINYL POOL Flocculating Liquid adheres to water-floating colloids, increasing their size and removing them by the sand filter.
